Malaysians loved the stories. The campaign proved to be a major success for LITE, with the total campaign video views on Facebook amassing over 700,000.
Catering to a total of 605,000 online following across its website and social media, LITE kicked off a campaign that sought to tell the stories of the people, for the people. Aptly titled Real Lives, Real People, Real Stories, the initiative was anchored by a series of four video-stories—some to educate and inspire, some to amuse and entertain.
Guided by LITE’s Breakfast Show announcers, Steve and Shaz, LITE highlighted four interesting individuals and stories, all of which were unusual and eye—and soul—opening:
LITE went on a weight loss and body-positive journey with John, who was an overweight kid, and would go on to shed 200 pounds. We also shed a light on the excess-skin surgeries he had to endure.
LITE joined Extreme Paranormal Researcher (EXPAR) in exploring haunted locations across Malaysia, even experiencing spooky encounters themselves
LITE reached out to Shareen, a local woman living with dwarfism, and helped her on the difficult journey to find love.
LITE shared the inspiring story of Pak Su, a man who dedicates his time to creating cost-effective prosthetic arms for those in need.
